In 2013, the Britannia changed to a 999.9 fineness, 24 carat gold. Containing one troy ounce of gold, this uncirculated coin is known as the wafer shape as it is flatter than the usual thickness. Sold as a bullion coin we have a small number which are in their original packaging. The reverse bears the classic Philip Nathan standing Britannia.
